Day 26: Get to bed a little earlier than usual. For some of us sleep is the only down time. And, some don't even get enough sleep. Studies show that getting to bed before 10 p.m. is the most benefical for the brain and body. After that the body doesn't rest the same and you'll wake up feeling it.
Try this, once a week go to bed 30 minutes earlier than you normally would. Don't take a book or watch tv in bed. This is the brains time to rest. Turn off the lights and get to sleep!
You'll notice the next morning how much that extra 30 minutes made. Try to increase the time until you can get to bed before 10 p.m and see if you don't thank yourself for doing it.
You'll feel fresh as a daisy, raring to go.
Day 25: Take Five- For me I start my day by reading from my book called; "Examining the Scriptures Daily" that is taken from our study articles from the past year. This gives us a reminder of what we've studied in the congregation's bible study every Sunday.
It's the greatest spiritual food put together for us so that we can keep ourselves focused and stay awake to the times we're living in and how close we are to the promises found in the Bible.
Then, before bed I reread the scripture and the surrounding chapter's so that I go to bed with a connection with my God. It's like wrapping myself in a warm blanket and feeling I'm loved.
