Day 13: DIY Massage- You don't need a professional masseuse to get rid of body tension. A do-it-yourself foot, hand or head massage can work wonders, especially at the end of a busy day. Your fingers and some body oil are the only equipment you'll need.
Sit comfortably as you gently massage your palms, fingers and backs of your hands. Next up: your toes, arches and heels. Then the scalp: start at the front using both hands with fingertips using gently pressure work your way to the back of the neck and back to the forehead. Literally knead the tension away.
When done, sit quietly for several minutes to gain the full benefits of this relaxing workout.
Day 12: Get Support- That is exactly what I did when I had the report of cancer. I said to myself, you need support from caring people who are understanding and going through or been through tough patches with their health as well. My friends offline and online have been my support group from day one of this reducing stress journey. You can get through anything if you know you are not alone. "Thank you" to all who are making this journey bearable each day for me. I love you dearly!
