Happy Wednesday Ladies!

Altered Journals, Altered Books, Junk Journals, Smash books!  Have you heard of these terms applied to the crafting world in the past few months or years?  I found out about the altered books a few years ago and fell in love with the idea.  I quickly purchased a how to book and have been making a variety of altered books, journals and albums selling them in my Jeanpatchbymk shop ever since.

Here are some of the ones you'll find in my shop.

 If you want me to turn a plain composition book or a vintage book into a fun work of art just contact me, I do custom orders.  The first picture is a custom order I just finished for one of my farm girl sisters.  I took a outdated weekly planner and made pocket pages and journal pages out of the existing pages.  I made a fabric cover that slips on and off out of pretty floral fabrics and vintage chenille with tons of embellishments on the cover and on each page!

If you've had an upsetting day, take the time to calm down and then wait before you approach the person you are upset with.  That will give you both time to think clearly and resolve the issue in a friendly manner.  Just don't let too many days pass before you take care of the matter.
