Oven Baked Stew

Ingredients: 2 pounds beef chuck cut into 1 inch cubes
1/4 cup flour
1 1/3 cup carrots
1 can tomatoes, undrained and chopped
3 Tablespoons Watkins onion soup and gravy mix
1/2 cup dry red wine or water
1 cup mushrooms sliced
1 package egg noodles, cooked and drained

Preheat oven to 425f. In 2 1/2 qt. casserole, toss beef with flour, then bake uncovered 20 minutes, stir once.
2. Reduce heat to 350f. Stir in carrots, tomatoes, soup mix and wine.
3. Bake covered 1 1/2 hours or until beef is tender. Stir in mushroom and bake covered 10 more minutes. Serve over hot noodles.
