Oven-Baked Stew

Ingredients: 2 pounds boneless beef steak cut into 1 inch cubes
1/2 cup flour                                 1 1/3 cups carrots sliced
1 can tomatoes chopped               1 Watkins onion soup mix- (see below)
1/2 cup dry red wine organic if possible
1 cup mushrooms sliced                 1- 8 ounce package egg noodles cooked and drained

Preheat oven to 425f   In 2 1/2 qt shallow casserole, toss beef with flour, bake uncovered 20 minutes, stir once.
2. Reduce heat to 350f. Stir in carrots, tomatoe, soup mix and wine.
3. Bake covered 1 hour 30 minutes, Stir in mushrooms and bake for additional 10 min. covered.
Serve over noodles. Add a spoon of sour cream.
