Simple Laundry Soap You Make Yourself and Save Big!!!

Homemade Laundry Powder (the easy version)

-Use 1/4 cup in regular washers, more if the load is very dirty or greasy

-Use 2 tablespoons in High Efficiency washers 3 tablespoons if the load is greasy or very dirty.

-Use Vinegar in the rinse for a natural fabric softener.  The vinegar smell will go away as the clothes dry.

Combine-

1 box Washing Soda

1 box Borax

1 4lb box Baking Soda

and

12 ounces grated laundry soap (Zote, Fels Naptha, Ivory Soap) All found at Wal-Mart Or Hardware Store

Combine until evenly mixed.  This makes enough laundry powder to last our family of 3  for around 6 months.  It is very economical, coming around or under 10 cents per load with no fillers and no harsh chemicals.  It can also be used as a scouring powder for kitchen and bath.
