Day 12: Get Support

Day 12: Get Support! We all need friendly, supportive souls in our lives, especially when we enter uncharted territory or move in new directions. i.e. new health issue

Seek these folks out. ask for their help. Let them know where you are and where you hope to be.

Check in with them regularly. Better yet, consider forming a  support group of those making similar journeys. Relay yor dreams and fears. Gain strength from your shared adventures in life.

DAY 11: Silence is Golden!  My quiet time is when I'm home alone. I can turn the ringer off on the phone and just relax. I can sew, read a book or just take a nap.  Early morning in the garden is also a time for me to reflect on how good God is and to enjoy all our hard work. Just watching the plants grow gives me such happiness.  I also have a bird feeder and birdbath in the backyard right where I can see the birds and squirrels at play. I just love nature.  We have hundreds of different plants all over the front and back yard. The more flowers the better is my motto.
For my Anniversary we started a rose garden. So, each year I get two new rose bushes to tend and delight at the beautiful colors in bloom and think of my loving family that loves me enough to bring them to me.

So often I'll go to my quiet place to read and just sit there at times not even opening the book as the silence is so warming and peaceful. Life is so hectic that the quit is a real need.

I agree, quiet time is a good thing-it refreshes me.
