Day 30: Find Refreshment in Spiritual Things

Day 30: Find Refreshment in Spiritual Things- In today's hectic world that is full of stresses from everywhere you turn you need to find a place you can be refreshed.  Getting together with family and friends can be refreshing.  But, the activities you do at those times can be very important.
Talk about spiritual things that refresh and build up the person.  Wise King Solomon declared: "With a man there is nothing better than that he should eat and indeed drink and cause his soul to see good because of his hard work." Eccl. 2:24

Our gatherings not only refresh the soul but also strengthen our bond of love with family and friends as we get to know them better.  It is best to keep the gathering small in order to get to know ones better and contribute to a memorable and up building occasion.  Do bible research together or read a part out of the Bible and each one has a part.

Research topics that you are unfamiliar with. For example, do you know God's name?  It appears over 7,000 times in the original manuscripts, but it has been replaced with GOD or LORD.  Why did they take the name of God out of the Bible?  When did they first start replacing his name with these titles?  Where does God's name appear in the Bible?  Why do you need to know and use God's name?

Those are just some of the questions you can ask and do research on to build one another up in these stressful times.

Day 29: Visualization- With Your Minds Eye- I love to see myself as I will be in God's new order after he has rid the earth of all those ruining it and the wicked.  I find that when I awake in the middle of the night and can't get back to sleep right away that is the perfect time to visualize where I will be in his purpose for the earth. Having a perfect body, perfect glowing health and exploring every corner of this earth.

It's a great feeling looking ahead to those times and it gives me strong faith and a hope that I know will be fulfilled.  I think about where I want to live, by the sea or mountains.  What kind of house we will build. What I will plant and how  the yard will be landscaped.  Each time I imagine something different.
I also visualize us keeping our life simple day by day to accomplish just having the necessities of life. I know that if we keep putting first God's kingdom and his righteousness he will provide for our daily needs.
